Kimberly Carter-White is an experienced education and program management professional with a focus on early learning and community relations. Currently serving as an Early Learning Specialist at The Children's School since January 2022, Kimberly has previously held significant roles, including Project Manager at Creative Connections NYC from February 2016 to June 2021. In this capacity, responsibilities included cultivating strategic relationships with NYC Department of Education partner schools and collaborating with educators to design impactful programs. Additional experience includes various positions at Macy's from September 2018 to January 2021 and a tenure at Creative Connections NYC as a Teaching Artist/Success Coach, where Kimberly developed and mentored students in a fashion entrepreneurship program. Education was pursued at Texas Southern University from 1992 to 1993.

In 1970, our founder Lila McDill had one vision: children learn by doing. Today, The Children’s School is an age 3 - grade 8 school located in the heart of Midtown, empowering students to dive in headfirst, hands-on and open-hearted into the grand lifelong adventure that is learning. As our students grow, learning through play becomes learning playfully. Through immersive project-based learning, we design projects around real-world problems facing our community to help students learn in a more meaningful way and tackle the kinds of questions that can’t be answered by Google.
