Christian-Geraud Neema Byamungu is an Associate at ECDPM, currently engaged in multiple roles including Africa Editor and Francophone Editor at The China Global South Project, where media coverage and analysis of China's involvement in Africa are provided in French. As a Non-resident scholar in the Africa Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Christian-Geraud Neema Byamungu focuses on the Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DRC) trade and investment relationships with China and the United States. Prior experience includes a Senior Associate role at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and consultancy positions with Double Feather Partners and INTERMINES Sarl, where projects related to governance, advocacy, and mining in the DRC were managed. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development from the International University of Japan and a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from Renmin University of China.
