Dan Berrett

Dan Berrett is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in higher education reporting. Currently serving as Senior Editor at The Chronicle of Higher Education since August 2011, Dan previously worked as a reporter for Inside Higher Ed and Pocono Record. Dan's diverse background includes freelance contributions to Newsweek and The New York Times, focusing on various cultural topics. Earlier roles include a Senior Associate position at the Nonprofit Finance Fund, where Dan managed communications, and public relations work at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. Dan holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in English-Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
