Alison Bownass

Alison Bownass is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and religious leadership. Currently serving as a Priest for the Church of England since June 2007, Bownass previously worked as a School Teacher at Birmingham Education/Highclare Independent School from September 1990 to July 2005. Earlier in their career, Bownass held the position of Personnel Officer at Trusthouse Forte from September 1978 to June 1983. Academic qualifications include a BSc (Econ) Hons in Social History and Geography obtained from University College of Swansea between 1975 and 1978, alongside an education at Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls.
