Martin Macdonald is an experienced clergy member with a diverse background in financial and governance roles. Serving as a Priest for the Church of England since October 2001 and retiring as Area Dean of the Calder Valley Deanery in December 2017, Martin has also held key positions such as Treasurer and Trustee at The Anglican Centre in Rome from January 2015 to March 2022, and a member of the Board of Finance for the Diocese of West Yorkshire and the Dales from April 2014 to December 2017. Previously, Martin was Chairman of the Wakefield Diocesan Board of Finance from 2011 to April 2014 and a Partner at PwC from August 1972 to June 2006. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Physics from Durham University, complemented by earlier studies at Lancing College and Trearddur House School.
