George Reeves

George Reeves serves as the Assistant Curate at St George's Church in Edgbaston since September 2020, collaborating with the Vicar and ministry team. Prior to this role, George completed full-time residential training for ordained ministry at Ripon College Cuddesdon, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, Ministry & Mission and later a Postgraduate Diploma in the same field. George's earlier experience includes significant fundraising roles at the University of Birmingham, where as a Major Gifts Officer, relationship management and fundraising for alumni were key responsibilities. Initial experience in the University’s Development & Alumni Relations team as a Major Gifts Trainee and earlier roles in media sales and student fundraising shaped foundational skills in communication and relationship building. George holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Birmingham and completed education at Monkton Combe School.
