Scarlett Blacker

Scarlett Blacker is an experienced professional currently serving as a Parliamentary Researcher in the Briefings Office for The Church of England since July 2023. Prior to this role, Scarlett worked at The Cambridge Access Validating Agency (CAVA) from October 2019 to July 2023, holding positions as Quality and Development Officer and Assistant Quality and Development Officer. Previous experience includes serving as Parliamentary Assistant to the Bishop of Ely at The Church of England from September 2018 to September 2019. Scarlett holds a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, where involvement included roles as Committee Member of the Staff Student Consultative Committee and Chapel Warden at ST CATHARINE'S COLLEGE. Additional committee experience includes serving as Committee Member for the University of Cambridge Chemical Society.
