Matt Tingey

Matt Tingey is an experienced software engineer with a focus on testing and automation. Currently serving as a SWD Eng In Test 3 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since January 2024, Matt is engaged in both backend and front-end automation projects as well as manual testing. Prior to this role, Matt worked at Software Technology Group as a Software Engineer in Test 3 on a contract for the same church organization and was previously a Test Engineer at Kforce Global Solutions, contracted to Select Health. Earlier experience includes positions as a Software Engineer and Intern at 7 Oaks Group, along with tutoring math up to Calculus 3 at Weber State University and Calculus 2 at Brigham Young University - Idaho. Matt holds a degree from Weber State University, where studies were completed from 2015 to 2019, following the completion of a high school diploma at Viewmont High School.
