Chris Morris

Group CEO at The Citation Group

Chris Morris is the Group CEO at The Citation Group. Prior to this, they were the CEO of The LateRooms Group from January 2005 to March 2013. During their time with LateRooms, the company grew from a single territory, single brand online accommodation provider to a multi-brand, global business. In December 2006, the business was acquired by TUI Travel plc and Morris became the CEO. Chris continued in this role until March 2013.

Prior to their work with LateRooms, Morris was the Commercial Finance Director for Waterford Wedgwood from January 2003 to December 2005. In this role, they were responsible for the finance of Wedgwood European Brands and had full P&L responsibility. Chris also negotiated all commercial agreements, re-designed control and measurement procedures for capital investments, and managed the financial re-branding of the Group's retail outlets.

From 1999 to 2003, Morris worked as the Corporate Development Manager for MyTravel. Before that, they worked in audit for Arthur Andersen from 1993 to 1999.

Chris Morris has a degree in Maths from the University of Liverpool, and also attended Lady Manners School.
