Salim Mahmud

Salim Mahmud is an Independent Director at The City Bank Ltd. Salim has over eight years of experience working in the accounting and finance field. Prior to their current position, they worked as an Accounts Officer at Kidney & Urology General Hospital (Pvt.) Ltd. and as an Accountant cum Secretary at Bangladesh Development Society (BDS). At Dhaka Ahasania Mission, a national organization funded by USAID Ag. Ext. Support Activity Pro., they served as Officer (Admin & Finance) responsible for cash management, preparing and checking financial statements, disbursing cash, and reconciling accounts. Salim also oversaw all aspects of the organization's administration and finance.

Salim Mahmud has a Master of Commerce (MCom) in Management from National University, a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Management from National University, and a Diploma in Commerce in Accounting from Govt. Commercial Institute, Barisal under Dhaka Board, Bangladesh. Salim also has an SSC (Secondary School Certificate Exam) in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Govt. B.M High School, Barisal under Jessore Board, Bangladesh.
