Ben Fractenberg is an accomplished photojournalist and educator with extensive experience in multimedia journalism. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY since September 2022, Ben teaches best practices in news photography and project development. As a Visuals Editor at THE CITY NY since January 2019, Ben plays a key role in local reporting and photojournalism. With a freelance career beginning in November 2017, Ben has earned recognition for work featured in prominent outlets such as the New York Times and New York Daily News. Previous roles include Political Reporter/Multimedia Journalist at The Forward, Multimedia Journalist at DNAinfo.com, and teaching positions at Hunter College. Ben holds a Master's Degree in Multimedia Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from the University at Albany.
