Daniel Peabody is a seasoned educator and community leader currently serving as Assistant Principal at Prince George's County Public Schools since December 2019 and as a Council Member representing Ward 4 in Hyattsville, Maryland, since May 2019. With a background in school counseling at both Prince George's County Public Schools and Howard County Public Schools, Daniel has dedicated significant time to supporting student development and creating inclusive educational environments. Daniel’s early career included serving as an Americorps Volunteer at Bishop Perry Middle School in New Orleans. Daniel holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and German from Saint John's University.
