Emily MacDonald

Emily Macdonald is a planning professional currently serving as Planner 2 at the City of North Vancouver since June 2016, following a role as Planning Technician. Prior experience includes positions at TEAL Architects as a Planner, where planning advice was provided to clients and applications were prepared and submitted. Macdonald also contributed as Co-Chair of the Halifax Cycling Coalition, organizing events to promote biking culture, and interned as a Development Technician with Halifax Regional Municipality, managing construction and land use applications. Additional experience includes roles at HRM Strategic Transportation Planning and as a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University. Emily holds a Master of Planning degree from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria.
