Janine Tasaka

Janine Tasaka is an experienced events coordinator and community liaison with a diverse background in event management and education planning. Currently serving in the City of North Vancouver since August 2022, Janine previously held the position of events manager at Mind Over Mountain Event Co. since 2000. Other notable roles include freelance writer for Best Version Media from 2018 to 2022, director of education planning at Dr. Linda-Joy Lee International from 2016 to 2020, operations manager at Unique Accommodations from 2011 to 2014, and special events and fundraising manager at YWCA Vancouver from 2007 to 2010. Janine also has experience as business and events manager at The Munda Biddi Trail Foundation from 2004 to 2006. Janine holds a Marketing Management/Tourism Associate Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
