Karyn Magnusson

Karyn Magnusson has a strong background in engineering and municipal management. Karyn currently works as the City Engineer/Director of Engineering, Parks, and Environment for the City of North Vancouver. Prior to this role, they served as the Deputy City Engineer for the same organization. Before joining the City of North Vancouver, Karyn worked as the Managing Director of Building Operations at the University of British Columbia. Karyn also held positions at the City of Vancouver, including Director of Street Use and Director of Departmental Services. In addition, they have extensive experience as a Project Manager and Senior Branch Manager in the Projects Branch of Engineering Services at the City of Vancouver. Throughout their career, Karyn has been involved in various projects and initiatives related to land use planning, policy development, and complex development permits.

Karyn Magnusson has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from The University of British Columbia. Their field of study at Arizona State University is unknown.
