Andri Geirsson

Head Of Service Design at The City of Reykjavik

Andri Geirsson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andri worked at The City of Reykjavik as the Head of Service Design, starting in April 2021. Prior to that, they held a role in Service Design & Facilitation at the same company starting in April 2018. From 2014 to 2018, Andri was involved with NAMELESS, a collective effort focused on organization development and experience design. In 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Event and Program Designer at Agenda Festival, an experimental idea festival. Additionally, Andri has experience as a Venue Manager at Made In Space Festival in 2017. Andri has also worked as a freelance photographer with a primary focus on culture, nature, and portraits. Furthermore, Andri was a Project Leader at Hangover Festival from 2010 to 2012, a participatory design experiment. Lastly, they co-founded AM Events in 2007, where they worked as an Event Designer and was the project leader of Söngkeppni Framhaldsskólanna, the biggest national singing competition in Iceland.

Andri Geirsson attended Kaospilot from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a degree in Enterprising Leadership (Design, Process & Business).
