Halldor Gislason

Halldor Gislason has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Halldor is currently employed as the Head of Software Development at The City of Reykjavik since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Manager at The City of Reykjavik from January 2021 to January 2022. Halldor also worked as an International Delegate at Icelandic Red Cross - Rauði krossinn from January 2017 to June 2022. In addition, they served as a Senior Business Analyst at Íslandsbanki from 2016 to December 2020. Before that, they held the position of Business Domain Manager at Össur in 2015. Halldor also has experience working as an IT Business Consultant & Project Manager at Capgemini from 2012 to 2015, and as a Product Owner at Islandsbanki from 2007 to 2012. Early in their career, they worked as a System Administrator at SecurStore from 2005 to 2007.

Halldor Gislason completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Reykjavik University in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Reykjavik University in 2007. Halldor also attended Gymnasium Neufeld in Berne, Switzerland, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Foreign Languages and Literatures.
