JoSeth Bocook, AICP, has extensive experience in urban and regional planning, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Development Services for the City of Rocky Mount since June 2008, with previous roles including Interim Director of Development Services, Planning Administrator, Interim Director of Planning and Development, Senior Planner, and Planner. JoSeth participates in various planning, zoning, and subdivision administration phases and acts as the staff liaison to the Historic Preservation Commission. Prior experience includes internships at Edgcombe County and the City of Greenville. JoSeth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from East Carolina University, completed between 2004 and 2007, and attended North Carolina Central University from 2002 to 2004.
