Joel Luks

Joel Luks has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Joel currently works as a Principal and Head of Strategy and Innovation at CKP, where they develop smart strategies and delivers results for various clients. Joel also serves as a University Instructor in the Master of Arts Leadership Program at the University of Houston, where they teach Public Relations and Communications for Nonprofits. Previously, they worked as an Arts & Entertainment Editor at CultureMap, where they curated and implemented strategies to maximize traffic to an editorial lifestyle guide. Joel also has experience in real estate sales, having worked as a Sales Professional at Newmark Homes, and in the education sector as the Education Director at Young Audiences of Houston.

Joel Luks obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from the Eastman School of Music, attending from 1995 to 1999. Joel then pursued a Masters of Music degree in Music Performance at Rice University, where they studied from 2001 to 2003.
