Barbara Gauntt

Barbara Gauntt is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in photography, content coordination, and education. Currently serving as the content coordinator for community publications at The Clarion-Ledger since March 2015, Barbara manages and edits content for various local newspapers while also generating story ideas and overseeing freelance contributors. In addition to this role, Barbara has been an adjunct instructor of photography at Mississippi College since January 2014 and operates Gauntt Media, providing services in social media, public relations, and photography since 2002. Barbara's previous experience includes director of marketing for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central MS, as well as a long tenure as a senior staff photographer and videographer at The Clarion-Ledger. Barbara holds both a Master’s degree in Photo Communications from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Seton Hill University.
