Ken Gentry is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading software development teams and designing advanced payment systems. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at The Clearing House since May 2016, Ken leads the development of the Real-Time Payments system and is recognized as a subject matter expert in RTP, XML messaging, digital signing, and ISO 20022 payment messaging. Prior to this role, Ken held significant positions at Gilbarco Veeder Root, TCDI, VF Corp, and Motorola, where expertise ranged from point-of-sale systems to mobile device software. Ken possesses a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
