Clayton Young

Clayton Young has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering, data science, and research. Clayton started their career at the University of Missouri, where they worked as a Bioinformatics Research Technician, participating in breeding experiments, data collection, and analysis. Later, they joined Monsanto Company, where they held various roles, including TPS: Planting and Harvest Readiness Team, Product Delivery and Support, and Seed, Chemical Formulation and Application, and Greenhouse Technician. In these roles, they focused on data visualization, software support, and automation to drive business decisions and improve efficiency. Currently, Clayton is working at The Climate Corporation as a Lead Data Engineer, responsible for partnering with analytics teams, automating models, and enabling new algorithms for product testing using Python, R, and AWS. Overall, Clayton's work experience demonstrates expertise in data engineering, data science, and research support.

Clayton Young obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied from 2007 to 2009.
