Tim Reich

Tim Reich has a vast work experience in the field of data science engineering and technology. Tim currently serves as the Director of Data Strategy at Benson Hill since December 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at The Climate Corporation, including Science ML/Data Engineering Lead and Placement data lead. At Monsanto Company, they were the Product placement design lead, Global Process Assessment Lead, Business Engagement Lead - IT, Senior Business Analyst, and worked in Research & Development in the fields of Yield & Stress Biotechnology and Potato Quality Biotechnology. Tim has extensive experience in leading teams, developing advanced AI/machine/deep learning models, automating processes, and utilizing technologies such as AWS, TensorFlow, Spark, Pyspark, Hadoop, Python, R, IBM CPLEX, and RESTful Interfaces.

Tim Reich earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from Missouri State University in the years 1989 to 1994. Tim then pursued a Master's degree in Data Science at Maryville University of Saint Louis from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Tim obtained several certifications in various data science and machine learning courses from institutions such as LinkedIn and Coursera. Tim also received the Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer certification from Google in July 2019.
