Shonda Layous

Shonda Layous has a robust background in human resources, highlighted by significant roles at The Clorox Company from July 2000 to October 2007, where positions included Senior Director of HR Business Partner, Compensation Benefits Consultant, and Plant Human Resources Manager. In the role of Senior Director, Shonda designed a comprehensive start-up plan for a newly formed group of seven business units following a major operational change, fostering strategic alignment through workforce planning. As a Compensation Benefits Consultant, Shonda collaborated with various departments to deliver targeted compensation solutions and conducted extensive wage analyses, enhancing talent acquisition strategies. Additionally, in the capacity of Plant Human Resources Manager, Shonda contributed to union negotiations during a plant closure, overseeing the transition and reskilling of 450 employees.
