Sophia King

Sophia King, PhD, currently serves as a Scientist II, Product & Process Developer in Wipes and Laundry R&D at The Clorox Company, where expertise includes formulating cleaning products with specific rheological, aesthetic, and antimicrobial properties. Previous experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA, under the supervision of Dr. Sarah H, as well as positions at Adelphi University, where contributions involved developing an electrochemical technique for enhancing analyte detection and tutoring peers in various subjects. Additionally, work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Uniwersytet Warszawski focused on electrochemical and photoelectrochemical investigations of a novel hybrid system. Sophia King earned a PhD in Materials Chemistry from UCLA and a B.S. in Chemistry from Adelphi University.
