Nora Nelson

Nora Nelson serves as a Team Leader at The Cloudburst Group since September 2023, and also holds multiple consultant roles for confidential clients at Head Global since July 2024. Additionally, Nora is a Nature-based Solutions Expert with Forest Trends Association, focusing on investment in nature-based solutions for water security, and serves as Resilience Lead at the National Science Foundation (NSF) on equitable water solutions. With expertise as a Senior Technical Expert at DevTech Systems, Inc., and Research Director at DIGDEEP Water, Nora has previously been a Team Leader at Management Systems International and an Advisory Board Member at UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation. From February 2021 to January 2023, Nora acted as a Technical Advisor for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, supporting transformative projects and programs across multiple regions. Nora holds multiple master's degrees in international relations, sustainable development, and natural resources, as well as a bachelor's degree in environmental science and biology, complemented by specialized training in coastal ecology and natural resource management.
