Jeffrey Baker serves as the Executive Chef at The Clubs at Houston Oaks since May 2014, where a seed to plate program was developed, yielding 6,000 pounds of herbs and vegetables for member use. Prior experience includes a role as Corporate Executive Chef at Rice Epicurean Markets from August 2011 to November 2013, overseeing five Executive Chefs and 75 culinary associates while creating new seasonal menus. Jeffrey Baker has also owned Baker Hospitality Consulting and held executive chef positions at Northgate Country Club and The Forest Country Club, where catering for notable figures was a highlight. Previous roles include General Manager/Executive Chef at Kiawah Island Golf Resort and Executive Chef positions at multiple establishments, starting with an apprenticeship at The Westin Galleria Houston Hotel under a Culinary Olympic Gold Medalist. Education includes an ACF Accredited Apprenticeship and a two-year degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from San Jacinto College.
