Sarah Able has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their latest role was as the Chief People and Culture Officer at The Co-operative Bank, where they were responsible for overseeing the company's human resources and organizational culture. Before that, they served as the Head of Culture and Change. Prior to their time at The Co-operative Bank, Sarah worked at Land Information New Zealand, where they held the position of Manager in Organizational Development. Sarah also has experience in the banking industry, having worked at HSBC as the Global Academy Head for Global Transaction Banking and as an L&D Manager. Sarah has also held positions at Capgemini, Royal Bank of Scotland, Carter Holt Harvey, and Sheffield, gaining expertise in various areas such as HR consulting, project management, and organizational performance consulting.
Sarah Able completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at Massey University from 1994 to 1997. In 2021, they attended the University of Cambridge for a brief period, studying Business Sustainability Management.
