Megan Thompson

Megan Thompson is a senior buyer at The COATS Company since October 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in materials management and purchasing. Prior to this role, Megan worked as a materials manager at Pennant Moldings, Inc. from April 2023 to October 2024 and served in various capacities at MAYEKAWA USA INC from January 2019 to March 2023, including purchasing supervisor and engineering ERP & IOM coordinator. Additionally, Megan contributed to PLM support at Lochinvar, LLC from September 2016 to January 2019, and gained foundational experience as an administrator at Schneider Electric from July 2014 to September 2016, as well as a floor supervisor at Samsonite from December 2009 to July 2014. Academically, Megan holds a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Cumberland University and a master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Middle Tennessee State University, completed in May 2022.
