Lebohang Matshaba

Lebohang Matshaba serves as the Director of Public Affairs and Sustainability at The Coca-Cola Company since August 2022, focusing on public affairs, government relations, and maintaining positive stakeholder relations. Prior to this role, Matshaba held various positions including Senior Manager of Public Affairs and Sustainability at Legacy M Holdings from July 2007 to June 2023, and Director/Head of Office at the Department of Basic Education from July 2019 to August 2022. Experience also includes serving as Deputy Director for Cabinet and Parliamentary Liaison at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation. Matshaba has been involved in academic governance as a Council member at the University of the Witwatersrand and a Senate member. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Diplomacy from the University of Pretoria, a Postgraduate Degree in Management, and various qualifications in Research and Development Management and Developmental Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand.
