Borja Carril Galán has extensive work experience in marketing and digital roles. Borja currently works at The Cocktail as the Managing Director, overseeing marketing, martech, and data. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Growth Officer and Head of Digital Marketing at the same company. In these roles, they created and led the digital marketing department, including performance marketing, SEO, and marketing automation. Borja also managed key accounts in the insurance, automotive, and education sectors.
Before joining The Cocktail, Borja worked at entradas.com as the Online Marketing Manager. Borja was responsible for SEM campaigns, retargeting campaigns, and managing advertising spaces on the website. Borja also handled co-marketing collaborations with companies like Spotify, Sony Pictures, and Hailo. Additionally, they managed relationships with media agencies and executed branding campaigns.
Earlier in their career, Borja served as the Traffic Web and Social Media Manager at entradas.com, where they developed and implemented SEM strategies and managed the SEO agency. Borja also worked as an Assistant in the Marketing Department, where they oversaw email marketing, SEM campaigns, and website content updates.
Borja's work experience also includes a brief stint as a Comercial at HC Energia and an Administrative role at Villadeciervos de Sanabria.
Borja Carril Galán obtained a Master's degree in Marketing and Commercial Management from Escuela Europea de Negocios in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Economics at the Universidad de Oviedo from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Borja obtained certifications in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot in July 2016 and in Google Adwords from Google in July 2015.
