Hannah Feldshuh

Ms. Hannah Feldshuh joined The Cohen Group after specializing in cybersecurity, data, and privacy issues for the US-China Business Council’s (USCBC) Beijing office. She provided analysis, advocacy, and monitoring for member companies regarding China’s seminal Data Security Law, Personal Information Protection Law, and related laws and regulations. Ms. Feldshuh was the lead author of a benchmarking report that was quoted in various publications including Bloomberg and the South China Morning Post. She also contributed to webinars, podcasts, and print articles on China policy. Ms. Feldshuh spearheaded USCBC’s advocacy positions on more than ten cross-border, cyber, and privacy related regulations, representing member views to Chinese and American government agencies.

Before joining USCBC, Ms. Feldshuh worked for North Head Consulting, advising corporate clients on China-facing public affairs strategies. As a freelance analyst and author in Beijing, she created tailored content for the British Council, academic institutions, and policy research consultancies using Mandarin and English language resources.

Ms. Feldshuh is a graduate of the University of Michigan and earned a master’s degree in Chinese Studies as a Yenching Scholar at Peking University. She is professionally fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
