Olly Brand

Olly Brand has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Olly worked at IBM for over 20 years, starting as an IT Specialist in 2000 and eventually becoming the Technology Lead in 2018. In their role, they were responsible for technology strategy, architecture, infrastructure, tooling, and adopting emerging technologies. Olly also led cloud and analytics development. Olly Brand joined The Collecting Group in 2022, where they currently hold the position of Cloud Architect. In 2023, they will transition to the role of Engineering Lead.

Olly Brand earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Llandovery College from 1996 to 2000 and Clayesmore from 1984 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Olly has obtained various certifications, including Architectural Thinking, Enterprise Design Thinking Coach, IBM Agile Enterprise Architecture, Mastery in Technical Leadership - Bronze Level, and Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner, all from IBM. The specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
