Bonnie Ackerman

Bonnie Ackerman has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Director of Special Projects, Risk Management at The College Board since August 2022, where Bonnie strategizes and executes risk management initiatives alongside the Chief Legal and Risk Officer. Prior to this role, Bonnie was Of Counsel at Wilson Elser from September 2015 to August 2022, defending complex litigation matters and leading a national quality assurance program. Bonnie has also held positions as a Professor, where Bonnie lectured at law school and undergraduate levels, and as a Program Administrator and Marketing Director at Mohawk Day Camp & Country Day School, overseeing daily operations and program development. Bonnie's legal career began in 1991, with experience in various roles, including litigation in product and general liability. Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Legal Studies from Brandeis University and a Doctor of Law from Albany Law School.
