Brandi Waters

Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships & Engagement at The College Board

Brandi Waters, Ph.D. is a seasoned academic and professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships and program management, currently serving as Senior Director at The College Board since April 2021. In this role, Brandi oversees initiatives related to AP African American Studies, building on a solid foundation of teaching and research at Yale University, where instruction focused on Digital Humanities, Latin American History, and African American Studies from March 2015 to May 2021. Previous positions include Diversity Fellow roles at Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University, as well as a research assistantship at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard. Brandi's educational background includes a Ph.D. in a combined program from Yale University, an M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University, complemented by undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and international experience in Spain and South Africa.
