Greg Norris has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Greg has held various leadership positions in notable companies. Greg started their career at STAR Technologies, where they served as a Team Lead for Hardware Design and Test. Greg later joined Sallie Mae, where they held multiple roles, including VP of Technology, VP of Enterprise Architecture, Director of Networks, and Manager of Systems Development.
Greg then went on to work at NETIMMUNE as the Chief Technology Officer. Following that, they joined Enumerate Solutions as the VP of Infrastructure and Integration. Greg then moved to Capital One as the Executive Director of Information Architecture and Strategy.
Afterward, Greg worked at the American Red Cross as the Executive Program Director, CTO, and Executive Director of Enterprise Architecture. Greg later joined Aries Blue Consulting LLC as a Principal Consultant.
In 2013, Greg joined The College Board, where they held several positions, including Executive Director of Data Services, Vice President of Data Services, and Vice President of Enterprise Services, Architecture, Data, and Governance.
Currently, Greg is working at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield - FEPOC, where they hold the position of Director of Enterprise Architecture and Planning. Starting from 2023, they will assume the role of VP of Enterprise Architecture.
Greg Norris completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Computer Architecture, Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science, at the University of Virginia from 1981 to 1984. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Architecture and Software Engineering at George Mason University. Prior to that, in 1980-1981, they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at George Mason University.
