Sarah Burkett

Sarah Burkett has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as a Science Program Specialist at Sarasota County Schools since August 2011. In this role, Sarah collaborates with stakeholders, administrators, and teachers to implement effective solutions and provide training based on research and experimentation results. Additionally, Sarah has served as a Science Instructor at both Sarasota County Schools and Sarasota Virtual Academy, focusing on fostering student growth in a supportive educational environment. With a comprehensive background in test administration as a Test Proctor for The College Board since 2012, Sarah ensures adherence to testing protocols and integrity. Sarah holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, along with two Master's degrees in Educational Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Chemistry Education from the University of South Florida. Prior to a career in education, Sarah worked as a Barista at Starbucks from May 2005 to February 2020.
