Sarah Issa

Sarah Issa is an experienced education professional currently serving as a US Government & Politics AP Reader with The College Board since May 2023. In addition to this role, Sarah has been an Instructional Coach and Social Studies Department Head at Noble Leadership Academy since August 2017, where responsibilities include directing curriculum development and enablement. As an Advisory Board Member for the Learning for the Empowerment and Advancement of Palestinians (LEAP) since October 2017, Sarah contributes to the Education Committee's efforts in supporting educational projects for Palestinian students in Lebanon. Sarah also works as an Education Consultant, collaborating with educators to enhance project-based instruction and support at-risk student performance, a role undertaken since June 2013. Previously, Sarah taught advanced History and Advanced Placement Economics at Al-Ghazaly High School from September 2006 to June 2011. Academic qualifications include a Student-Centered Instructional Coaching Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master's of Public Policy and a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Rutgers University.
