Tim Hurley

Tim Hurley currently serves as the Vice President of Government Relations at The College Board, a position held since August 2025. Prior to this role, Tim was the Executive Director at Movement Foundation from June 2017 to August 2025 and previously held the title of Executive Director & Senior Vice President at Teach For America from 2008 to May 2017. Tim's early career includes various legal internships and summer associate positions at prominent law firms and a brief stint as a Legal Intern in the Office of the Governor of Mississippi. Tim began in education as a teacher and department chair at Quitman County Middle School, followed by a recruitment role with Teach For America. Tim holds a Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University.
