Troy Gary has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Troy began their career at AT&T Corp in 1991, where they worked as an IT Professional until 2000. Troy then joined AOL as a Lead Systems Analyst and stayed there until 2004. In 2004, they joined The College Board as a Lead Systems Analyst and progressed to the role of Director of Requirements Management in 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Agile Portfolio Management at The College Board.

Troy Gary obtained a Masters of Science degree in Information Systems from The George Washington University in the years 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science - Decision Support Systems from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 1987 to 1991.
