The College of Saint Scholastica
Rutendo Kahari is currently a Student Researcher at The College of St. Scholastica, focusing on phage genomics and Mycobacteriophage Brusacorum. In addition to research, Rutendo serves as a Career Assistant, helping students with resumes and professional profiles, and as a Global Associate at Tilting Futures, collaborating on alumni engagement initiatives. Experience also includes a role as a Student Advisor for the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, a STEM Assistant Teacher at NORY, Inc., and participation in The Rockefeller University's "Becoming a Scientist" program. Previous contributions to Youth STEM 2030 involved reviewing life sciences articles and presenting at international summits. Rutendo has interned with Chai Ventures, gaining insights into biotech innovations, and participated in a Global Social Justice apprenticeship in South Africa. Educational pursuits include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at The College of St. Scholastica.
