Dmitry Martirosov

Dmitry Martirosov is an experienced journalist with a background in reporting on government and local politics. Currently serving as the Assistant City Editor for the Columbia Missourian since August 2024, Dmitry focuses on the state government beat. Prior to this role, Dmitry worked as a Reporting Intern at the Courier Journal, covering local government issues in the Louisville Metro area. Dmitry's career includes significant positions at the Columbia Missourian as a State Government Reporter during a tumultuous session of the Missouri General Assembly and a City/County Government Reporter focusing on the Columbia City Council. Other internships include reporting for the Lincoln Journal Star, covering local news in Jefferson City, and serving as a Digital Producer for KOMU 8. Dmitry holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a focus on Reporting and Writing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating in 2024.
