Angela Parsons

Vice President For Donor Services And Development at The Columbus Foundation

Angela Parsons has a rich and diverse work experience. Angela started their career at Deloitte in 1998 as a Tax Manager, where they worked for five years. In 2003, they then moved to Kegler Brown Hill & Ritter, where they served as an Estate Planning, Business & Tax Attorney until 2007. Angela then joined The Columbus Foundation, where they held various roles. Angela started as the Director of Donor Development and Scholarship Services in 2007 and eventually became the Vice President for Donor Services and Development in January 2016. At The Columbus Foundation, Angela worked closely with donors to help them achieve their charitable goals through current or planned giving. Angela also managed the growth of the foundation's scholarship program.

Angela Parsons has a strong educational background in both law and finance. Angela began their education at the University of Notre Dame in 1990, where they earned a BBA in Finance. Following their undergraduate studies, Angela went on to pursue a J.D. degree at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where they graduated in 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Angela has obtained several certifications in philanthropy. Angela holds the title of Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, which they received from The American College of Financial Services. Angela obtained this certification in December 2015 and January 2016.
