Chasity Edwards Ed.m

Chasity Edwards, Ed.M has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Chasity most recently served as the Director of Education Grantmaking at The Columbus Foundation from September 2023 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a Career Coach at the Harvard Graduate School of Education - Education, Leadership, Organizations & Entrepreneurs Program starting in August 2022.

From June 2021 to September 2023, Chasity worked as a Consultant at Education First Consulting. Before that, they were a Policy Fellow at Harvard Graduate School of Education - The Education Redesign Lab from October 2020 to June 2021.

Earlier in their career, Chasity worked as a Project Manager at The Ohio State University, overseeing federally funded research studies. Chasity also served as an Assistant High School Division Director at The Ivymount School, where they trained and evaluated teachers. Their work experience also includes being a Special Education Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) from 2003 to 2008.

Chasity Edwards, Ed.M, obtained their Master of Education degree in Education Policy & Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, attending the institution from 2020 to 2022. Prior to their time at Harvard, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education at Howard University from 2001 to 2004. Chasity's academic journey began at Ohio University, where they attained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology between 1997 and 2001.
