Chelsea Kiene

Chelsea Kiene has a diverse work experience in various communication and marketing roles. Chelsea is currently working as the Director of Communications and Marketing at The Columbus Foundation since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Communications & Stakeholder Engagement at Groundwork Ohio from March 2021 to May 2022. From September 2019 to February 2021, they worked as the Communications Director (Ohio) at For Our Future, where they previously held the position of Deputy Communications Director (Ohio) from July 2017 to September 2019. Chelsea also has experience working at organizations like the Center for American Progress and The Huffington Post, where they held roles such as Senior Media Coordinator and Political News Bureau Intern respectively. Chelsea has also worked as a Writing Consultant at Miami University Howe Center for Writing Excellence and as a Press Secretary at Angela Zimmann for U.S. Congress. Chelsea's experience is supplemented by their time as a Communications and Media Relations Intern at Equality Ohio.

Chelsea Kiene attended Otsego High School from 2004 to 2008. Chelsea then went on to study at Miami University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their areas of study at Miami University were Strategic Communication and Political Science.
