Steve Moore has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Steve began their career in 1994 as a Grants/Contract Manager at Huckleberry House and then moved on to become a Program Officer at The Columbus Foundation in 1997. In 1999, they joined The Ohio State University as an Associate Director for Foundation Relations. However, they returned to The Columbus Foundation in 2001 and held various roles, including Director of Donor Services and Development and Community Counsel. Currently, they are serving as the Chief of Staff at The Columbus Foundation.
Steve Moore completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Hampton University, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. Steve then pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University, graduating in 1994. In 2020, Steve Moore participated in the d.school Designing for Social Systems Workshop at Stanford University, but it is unknown if they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during this time.
