ANZ Head Of Strategy And Digital at The Comfort Group

Mara Andrew has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mara started their career as a Marketing Assistant at Tip Top Ice Cream in 2003. Mara then worked as a Focus Group Assistant at Focus Research from 2006 to 2007. Mara joined L'Oréal in 2008 and held several roles, including Product Manager for L'Oréal Professionnel and Senior Product Manager for Kérastase Paris. In these positions, they led brand strategies, marketing calendar plans, and communications. Mara also served as the Marketing Manager for L'Oréal Professionnel & Pureology, responsible for analyzing and adapting brand strategies.

In 2014, Mara joined Rose & Thorne Lingerie as the Head of Marketing & Customer Experience, where they developed marketing strategies and explored own-channel retail options. Mara later became the General Manager of the company, overseeing financials and driving commercial outcomes. Mara then joined the Overland Footwear Group in 2017 as the Head of Marketing, Digital & Communications, leading the marketing team for several brands.

Since 2018, Mara has been working at The Comfort Group - Asia Pacific, initially as the ANZ Group Digital & E-commerce Manager and currently as the ANZ Head of Strategy and Digital. Their responsibilities include project managing transformational strategies, leading consumer insights and research, and managing the digital team. Overall, Mara has demonstrated expertise in marketing, digital strategy, brand management, and team leadership throughout their career.

Mara Andrew completed their undergraduate studies at The University of Auckland from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts, with a focus on Psychology and Statistics. In 2022, they also participated in a Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson, where they focused on Brand Management.
