Corinne Kennedy is an experienced journalist with a diverse background in reporting and editing. Currently serving as Metro Editor and previously as Healthcare and Business reporter at The Commercial Appeal since December 2018, Kennedy has focused on local and regional government, business, and the multifaceted impacts of COVID-19 in Memphis and the Southeastern United States, contributing to USAToday as well. Prior experience includes working as a community watchdog reporter for The Desert Sun Publishing Company, managing content and social media at SkyNet-Solutions, and interning in various roles, including at The McClatchy Company and the Columbia Missourian. Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by studies at Université libre de Bruxelles and the University of Jordan.
