Joseph Betancourt

Joseph Betancourt is the President of The Commonwealth Fund and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Joseph is also the Co-Founder and President of Quality Interactions, Inc., specializing in E-Learning in Cross-Cultural Communication. Previously, Joseph held various senior leadership positions at Massachusetts General Hospital, including Senior Vice President of Equity and Community Health. Joseph also served as an advisor at Initium Health and on the Medical Advisory Boards of ConsejoSano and Accolade, Inc. Joseph holds a Master's degree in Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Maryland.
