David Jones

David Jones has extensive work experience in human resources. David began their career at Eli Lilly and Company, where they worked as an HR Manager for the Indianapolis Pharmaceutical Manufacturing division and later as an HR Manager for US Sales. David then became an HR Director, reporting directly to the Senior VP of HR and participating in the development and implementation of HR strategies. After that, they served as an HR Director for the Prince William Manufacturing facility and as an HR Leader overseeing the successful closure of Lilly's largest facility.

In 2008, Jones joined BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life) as the Vice President of Human Resources. David led a team responsible for HR strategy and operations and facilitated the transition to a regional structure.

Jones is currently the Vice President of Human Resources at The Community Builders, Inc., an organization focused on building and sustaining strong communities. David manages the HR function for over 10,000 apartment units across 14 states and the District of Columbia.

David Jones has an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. David also holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University, received between 1978 and 1982. Before attending university, David completed their high school education at Newton North High School from 1975 to 1978. In 2014, they obtained an Employee Engagement Specialist Certification from The Employee Engagement Group.
